Who's online
Final Exam
Scenario: Web page résumé's are becoming more and more common for people pursuing technological fields. It allows you to create a multidimensional piece rather than the limited scope of one sheet of paper. With an Internet resume' you can add video, pictures, links, sounds, and more. You are a trained, technologically adept individual who wants to stand out from the crowd make a web page resume' that shows it!
Object: You must develop a 20-page HTML (Internet web page) resume about your technical experience. Your site should include the following:
- Index Page (1)- this page provides a link to the other pages on your site.
- Project pages (8)- you should have 1 page for each project.
- Rubric Links (8)- Include a link from your projects to the rubrics for the project. Be sure to convert the rubric to HTML format before linking.
- Design Process (1)- Discuss the problem solving process and how it has helped you succeed in this class and how it will help you succeed in your future.
- Team Project Page (1) - Discuss your team project. Share what it was, what you thought about the experience of creating your own company, what you learned about business, and what your role in the company was.
- Summary Page(1)- this page should summarize how your "work experience" has prepared you for the workplace.
You must complete this project using a local web-page design software (Don't use online page generators like Yahoo or Geocities). You are free to use any other tools on the Internet or at home if you wish to make your page stand out. Keep in mind that a resume that looks nice but does not adequately describe your skills will not do much in your job search. First work on your text, then go back and make it look nice.
Grading: This project will be graded using the standard Rubric used all year. You will not need to write a report, but will need to have all of the items mentioned in the rubric. Be sure to keep all your developmental work. This project must be completed by the day of your scheduled Mid-term exam in Tech Ed.
